HELLO, I am a Designer-Researcher with a BA (Hons) in Industrial Design and two years experience freelancing for organisations in the third sector. I focus on Design Methods, Social Innovation and the interactions between people and their environments.I'm inquisitive and notice things that are often overlooked. I enjoy helping other people out, frequently I am the connector and facilitator, curating people and I look to work collaboratively with a broad range of disciplines.I have just finished studying on Immersion 2010, a creative development programme, at Central Saint Martins and have been commissioned by CSM Innovation Centre to Project Manage a pop-up studio project with fellow students. I also freelance for E-NOISE as a Happiness Engineer and blog with my twin brother, Thom, at BonzoBonzo Blog.I helped to set up and establish the charity New Deal of the Mind where I facilitated a number of partnerships to develop a model to reuse space made empty by the recession into supported studio space. I assisted with the research and editing of two reports for Arts Council England which examined the importance of developing creative entrepreneurial skills and called for a 21st century Enterprise Allowance Scheme. They have since helped to inform the Arts Council’s Action on recession. At Design Against Crime Research Centre I conducted hands-on research (with the aid of bolt-cutters and a hack-saw) to understand how thieves steal bicycles. My case studies helped to produce the online Bikeoff Design Resource that aims to encourage better cycling practice to reduce theft. It was presented with an exhibition at The London Bicycle Film Festival.Right now I'm exploring the relationship between Design Methods and the Third Sector, designing strategic solutions to social issues.
