Associate Director at Leicester's Curve Theatre, the East Midlands' state of the art, flagship performing arts venue and one of the country's leading producing houses. My role at Curve is a new post created to connect the theatre with even more of the region's young and diverse audiences. I have launched the theatre's first programmes for new writers and emerging companies; and have also appointed the building's first associate artists and affiliate community groups, who will help create a series of high quality live experiences and participatory opportunities for more people beginning their journeys into the arts. This work will be celebrated in April 2014 over the course of the ten-day INSIDE OUT Festival, which will present work by over 150 local artists over featuring collaborations with The National Theatre, BBC Writersroom and The Royal Court.

In addition to my role at Curve, recent self-produced projects include a trilogy of critically acclaimed, sell-out site-specifc classical shows in unusual, hidden spaces across London (The Revenger's Tragedy; The Winter's Tale and Othello); and the 2013 IdeasTap Underbelly Edinburgh-award winning production HOPE LIGHT AND NOWHERE.

I have also worked as a Resident Director for the National Theatre Studio, English Touring Theatre and Theatre Royal Stratford East. Freelance credits include The Young Vic and Tamasha Theatre Company

Other key achievements include being awarded an Almeida Festival commission in 2012, and also being one of seven young directors selected by Old Vic New Voices to take part in the 2011 TS Eliot US/UK Exchange, a showcase of the best of British talent in New York.
