In recent years I have become a highly motivated and self-driven freelance sound and lighting engineer, mainly working in the field of contemporary performance systems.

I started my musical career as a keen performer working both as a singer and actor, attaining qualifications from various exam boards including ABRSM, Trinity College and LAMDA. Through my training and experiences as a performer, I slowly worked my way into the world of technical theatre. Working closely with Robert Fox (AD Music/Code Indigo), I started to develop valuable skills needed to pursue a career in Theatre, Music and Music Technology.

Within the field of Music Technology, I have explored many different fields, including live concert and studio recording, arranging, sequencing and audio realisation, and film composition. As an sound engineer, I specialise primarily in live onsite PA and recording, along with post-production mastering. Current work as a live sound engineer mostly focuses on bespoke systems within new music and live electronics set-ups.

Recent years has seen a change of personal direction, with creative programming for audio forming the focus of my work. Creating user controlled environments and exploring the boundaries between performers and the audience is something I enjoy. Further to this, my research also looks into live interactive performance systems, and how audience interactions effect the barriers of technological performance.
