About me

Robyn Keynes studied on the CT course at East 15, and was first introduced to the world of producing through The Optimists programme, run by China Plate.

As a freelance producer I work mainly in new writing, producing work at venues including: Southwark Playhouse, Finborough Theatre, Pleasance London and Edinburgh, and the Arts Theatre (West End).

Previous work:
Assistant Producer at Independent Productions (2012/2013) working on two sell-out UK tour's of the Time Out Critics’ Choice show; Boy In A Dress and The Bear; a co-production with Improbable.

Festival Coordinator of the National Student Drama Festival 2014.

Current work:
Assistant Producer at commercial producers Smith&Brant through the Stage One Apprenticeship Scheme, working on The Pajama Game and Memphis at Shaftesbury Theatre.

East of Berlin at Southwark Playhouse 18th June to 12th July 2014.


My passion lies strongly in new writing and I aim to bring bold, original work to both the commercial and subsidised sectors, being especially interested in how inventive, exciting theatre can have popular appeal.
