Designer - Maker- Performer

I love theatre. I love everything there is to do in it and I love creating it.

Although the last few years of my life have been dedicated to a degree in Theatre Design at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, I have managed to keep my hand in performing, taking on lead puppeteering roles in the college's puppetry productions in 2012 and '13, and acting/singing in a musical at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013.

I was born in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, where I received a Triple Distinction from the Wessex Academy for my BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. After completing a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Weston College (in association with the University of the Arts London), I went on to receive an Upper Second class Theatre Design degree which I believe has turned me into a well rounded designer-performer.

The final part of my degree was spent on my own puppet musical - script-writing, composing, casting, directing, producing, designing, making and performing - which was the only time of my life where I have felt the height of stress and happiness at once! It was an experience that I'll never forget, as I adore working on every aspect of performance, but as it was a graded piece of work, there was a lack of collaboration in the organisation and decision-making which I feel the project missed out on. From now on I want to work with other multi-talented creatives to create projects with more power and promise.
