Harry Giles is from Orkney, Scotland, and is: a performance-maker (MA Theatre Directing, East 15 Acting School 2010) a poet (page, stage, everywhere) an environmental specialist working with Forest, Edinburgh’s radical multi-arts venue a facilitator and workshop-leader a cyborg an author of interactive fiction a rebel clown a self-publicistAs a performance-maker, he has been programmed by festivals and venues including the Soho Theatre, the Ovalhouse, Forest Fringe and Arches LIVE. As a poet, he has given feature performances at nights including Chill Pill, JibbaJabba and Last Monday at Rio; won multiple slams including the UK Student Slam (2008), the BBC Scotland Slam (2009), the Glasgow Slam (2010); and been published in journals including Magma, PANK and Drey. He has developed and delivered workshops for organisations including Keats House, People & Planet, and the Edinburgh International Science Festival.

SLAM JAM pt.4: SNAPPLE!
Back by popular demand, Slam Jam pt.4 will be a slammin’ combo of comedy and drama. An open mic night of poetry and performace, Slam Jam accepts all proposals and encourages everyone to join in.
The event will be held at Bloc Studios from 7:00pm on Tuesday the 26th of Janruary. The address is: 71 Eyre Lane, Sheffield, S1 4RN.
