About me

Hannah Elsy is a theatre director and producer. She is the founder and Artistic Director of Slick Rat Theatre. Slick Rat has recently developed a genre- bending new rock musical called 'The Quentin Dentin Show' for RichMix, with the support of The National Theatre Studio. Hannah is a member of the National Theatre's 'Young Studio' artistic development programme.

For Slick Rat, Hannah is also developing a Weimar Cabaret musical adaptation of 'Measure for Measure' with songwriter Henry Carpenter. In 2013, she directed 'The Tempest' at The Rag Factory.

Her work has also been presented at the National Theatre Studio, RichMix, The British Museum, The Wellcome Trust, Hoxton Hall, The Bierkeller Theatre (Bristol), The Rag Factory and Theatro Technis.

She has also worked as a photojournalist for Fierce Festival and In Between Time Festival, and has written reviews and features for A Younger Theatre.
