Hello!

My next project is 'The Girl Who Fell In Love With The Moon' with The Human Zoo Theatre Company, supported by The Pleasance, London. This project is mentored by Lee Simpson, Artistic Director of Improbable and Les Enfants Terribles.

Our last production was 'The Hive', which we took up the The Pleasance, Edinburgh, after winning the Les Enfants Terribles Edinburgh Award 2014. We finish our tour of The Hive next Spring at The Castle, Northamptonshire, where we are taking up an artists residency for a week in March/ April. Since Edinburgh, alongside rehearsing our latest production, we produced a large-scale outdoor immersive event for Groombridge Place's Enchanted Forest. Please see my portfolio for pictures from the event.

My training is in Repertory Theatre, with The Fourth Monkey Theatre Company, which provided practical training, and direct rep. experience in successful London and Edinburgh Rep Seasons. The course was hugely varied, and the Clown and Ensemble work have been the stand out features, for me.

Having trained with the NYT in 2009, I have since taken part in their 'Creative Pathways' course, which began to set me up as a workshop facilitator.

    I wonder if you would be interested in being part of our attempt at forming an IdeasTap based 'open-source' scriptwriting collective? We are trying to get as many talented young writers as possible together to communally write a screenplay for my new short The Gate Of The Hundred Sorrows. Have a look at how it all works on the group and please read over what has already been submitted - all group members can effectively take from any of the existing scripts and rewrite in any direction they want! Or indeed, as is encouraged (!) go in an new direction with it entirely!

  • Ya. It's been a long week already. I have a couple of auditions at the end of the week and next week that I'm learning for and my own company is preparing to go abroad at least twice this year, maybe a third time too. It's all very hectic.
