I trained on the Acting and Contemporary Theatre course (The CT) at East 15 Acting School, and founded award-winning, internationally touring company Snuff Box in 2011. We took our debut play 'The Observatory' to Ediburgh Fringe Festival the same year, which debuted at the Underbelly and received much praise for its treatment of the Afghanistan conflict.

In 2012, we took Charlotte Josephine's 'Bitch Boxer' to the Fringe, as part of the Old Vic New Voices/IdeasTap Edinburgh Award, where it received critical acclaim. Following that, it enjoyed a run at Soho Theatre and was then picked as part of the British Council showcase returning to Edinburgh Fringe for a limited run of eight shows in 2013, going on to win the Holden Street Theatres Award. The show is currently being performed in Adelaide, Australia and will return to Soho in 2014, before embarking on a regional tour.

I have written three shows for Snuff Box Theatre to date - The Observatory, The Altitude Brothers, and WEALD. Snuff Box's new show 'WEALD', was shortlisted for the inaugural Hodgkiss Award at the Royal Exchange in Manchester.

As a performer I've been lucky enough to have travelled the world,including Australia and Ireland, with 'Bound', the award-winning show from Bear Trap Theatre Company and Hong Kong, Singapore and Manila with acclaimed young people's theatre company Tall Stories.

I also perform spoken word under the moniker Somewordspoken.
