Filmmaker and theatre director. I like bright colours and dark places, good stories and bad puns.

In 2014, I was the JMK Assistant Director Bursary recipient at the Salisbury Playhouse, and developed two new plays - BAGGAGE by Lydia Thomson (Roundhouse / Proteus Creation Space) and A TED* TALK WITH CLAY JW CROWNE (*NOT AFFILIATED WITH TED.COM, ITS MEMBERS, FELLOWS, ORGANISERS, PARTNERS, SUBSIDIARIES, SPONSORS OR STOCKHOLDERS) (Edinburgh Festival Fringe - Gilded Balloon, Turret).

My work as a filmmaker includes WRESTLING YETIS, which was described in the Independent as "funny, heart-warming... a sweet comedy short" and has been screened at venues including the BFI, the House of Commons, the Olympic Park and the Roundhouse. Other films have screened at venues including Channel 4 HQ, Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles and on BBC Big Screens around the country in 2012.

My other hats include having a hardcore interest in water efficiency (including speaking at events/summits around the world) and being a "Global Theme Park Expert", according to the Discovery Channel. Still can't decide which gets me more nerd points.
