Hi Isley,Thank you for getting back to me. Sorry it's taken me a couple of days to reply. We are looking for a variety of things: short films scripts, short plays, TV pilots or extracts from feature film scripts. (We will also potentially be accepting treatments although we will prioritise material that is more fully formed.) The people attending will be a mixture of theatre and film, writers and producers, so if you have anything that you are developing that you would like to get some feedback on, or if you have a piece of writing that is finished that you would like to showcase, the night could also be a good opportunity for that. The evening will be fairly informal so it'll be a good chance to meet people and chat about future projects.If you would like to know more about our group our website is:http://southeastpenguin.weebly.com/The New Writing Night will be held at the Coach and Horses Pub in Clapham on 9th November. If you have anything you would like to submit (or if you would like to meet with one of us before submitting something) then please email me on: southeastpenguin@gmail.com. After we receive scripts we read them and then once the programme has been decided, we will get back in touch to arrange a time for the writers to come in and brief the actors performing their work on what they want from their reading.I hope that makes things a little clearer, please let me know if you have any questions.
