I am from Torquay/Devon but I am currently living in Derbyshire attending Derby University studying BA Hons Theatre Arts.
I am an extremely enthusiastic and bubbly individual who thrives on acting. Being a part of a stage production for me is to become part of a brand, new world that starts to evolve the minute those bright lights are switched on. None of us really know what each performance will bring as the curtains fall back and the chattering audience slowly become quiet. For me, my heart begins to beat with a new and rapid pounding, a drumming that wants to escape into the audience and dance amongst their anticipating claps. Then as they become silent again and the stage takes over my new world is born.
That’s how it is for me whether I am part of the chorus, lucky enough to be a main character or following my passion of singing, I like to take myself away to the place where all possibilities are endless and achievable.
I love being involved in all aspects of theatre and I am currently exploring the fascinating aspects of being a director, which I feel has pushed me into looking at a piece of theatre in a completely different way.
I am very versatile and I have adapted to a variety of characters in Genres such as comedy, naturalism, tragedy, and my favourite which is musicals
Whilst lucky enough to attend the Derby Theatre Arts course, I feel I am growing as an actor and developing skills that I didn’t know existed. As much as I love Theatre I am also interested in film acting which I am in the process of pursuing.
