Produced completey by hand, no computer involved, until scanning in the final image.  This print started life as a sketch, which I then cut into (paper) stencils with a craft knife. I then mixed each colour individually until it was just right and I applied this ink through the gaps in the paper stencils with a durathene roller.  Layering shapes and colours to create depth, texture and atmosphere. 

This image depicts a doctor up in his Ivory Tower, chucking out prescriptions to patients below. I produced this image for European Parkinson's Disease Association. It highlights the importance of a holistic, person centred approach in helping people with parkinson's disease. The article said that many patients fail to get all the support they need and are just palmed off with drugs.

I created this print whilst I was Artist in Residence at Chhaap Printmaking Studios in Gujurat, India Despite poorer conditions the people living here were upbeat and bright, just like their coloured houses.
