About me

I am an aspiring arts journalist with a passion for (documentary) film, photography and performing arts. I studied Art, Anthropology and Politics in Amsterdam and London and this social interest informs my work. Whether I'm writing a review, an interview or a comment piece, I enjoy looking for intersections between art, culture and politics.

I was a contributor and later Editor-in-Chief of my university's social science magazine in Amsterdam and am currently Arts&Culture editor for Smiths, Goldsmith's student magazine. Last summer I worked as a reporter and blogger for the International Theatre School Festival (ITs), which was an absolute treat. At the moment I'm doing freelance translating jobs, working on personal writing projects, and trying to get things started as a professional arts journalist.
