I graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012 with First Class Honours, I also studied abroad in Budapest for a year as part of my course, holding exhibitions in amazing spaces and speaking appalling Hungarian.

I mainly work in sculpture looking at how prop-like positioning can change the interaction or perceived hierarchy between artist, object and viewer. For me making, doing and discovering rather then becoming overwhelmed in procrastination is essential as a maker but I do enjoy dissecting the travel of a piece. Process becomes a big part of my work along with the glut of materials I come across. All aspects of making work from its packaging, social patterns of an audience to the architectural directions within a building are considerations that I have looked at within my practice.

This extends into my networking/dinners/games events that I host and organise. I find these situations help me to not only reach another audience, take away the formality of networking, but use my work in a playful way to work out unresolved ideas.

I am currently working in the West Midlands, I have exhibited nationally and occasionally internationally and am interested in building up a network of like-minded artists, writers -creatives who are interested in holding exhibitions in unusual spaces. In the past two years I have worked with Eastside Projects, Santorini Biennale, Hackney Downs Studios, New Art Gallery Walsall, Birmingham City University, mac Birmingham and Castlefield gallery in Manchester.
