About me

I am a London-based freelance portfolio professional, specialising in dance management and training with a passion for coaching and developing talent.

Over the last 9 years I have worked with a wide range of arts organisations and artists, and have developed world-class dance projects at DanceXchange and most notably for the Centre of Advanced Training (CAT) at The Place, from 2005-2011.

Companies and artists I've worked with include Bare Bones, Richard Alston Dance Company, Tavaziva Dance, New Adventures, Wayne McGregor I Random Dance, Aletta Collins, Bonachela Dance Company, Rambert Dance Company, Jasmin Vardimon Company, New Art Club, Wendy Houston, Protein Dance and Yorke Dance Project.

At 18, I won a Dance and Drama Award to study the BA (Hons) Dance Theatre degree at Laban. During this time, I was commissioned to produce an evening of student works at the RSC SummerHouse (2001) giving me a taste for production and programming. I was Co-President of the Laban Student Union before graduating in 2002. Shortly after I began my professional teaching career with Wise Moves.

In 2004 I became Dance Artist in Residence for DanceXchange where I initiated, delivered and managed a wide variety of education projects with local schools and participants including Bare Bones 2004 Tour and audience development projects with Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake and Carlos Acosta's Tocororo. I moved back to London in 2004 to run the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT), London Contemporary Dance School, The Place.

I was an Expert Panel Member for the UK government's Music and Dance Scheme from 2007-2010, and member of the steering group for its first national gala in 2008 at Sadler's Wells.
