Originally from Manchester, I now study MA Art and Science at Central St Martins.
I am an intern for the Northern Arts & Science Network which is based in Leeds, Yorkshire holds a certain charm for me, as I studied my degree in Fine Art at Leeds College Of Art.
In both degrees, I have been exploring the use of bubbles as an art material and their scientific implications. I'm an experimental artist, I wouldn't define myself as a painter, photographer or a sculptor. The idea is what matters to me, and how it would best be carried out. For this reason, I have worked with unusual materials such as sugar, soap, ice, wool and eggs.

I currently work for a pioneering clothes shopping website which satisfies my interest for fashion which I had neglected for arts sake.
I am about to negotiate a second internship with yet another clothes shopping website, to assist them with their blog.

In my 7 years of work experience, I have mostly worked in administrative roles. However, I have jumped at every opportunity that I have come across to sample work in other fields. I have worked as a teaching assistant, youth worker, art workshop assistant, newsletter guest editor, events steward, exam invigilator, barmaid and a sales assistant to name but a few!

By sampling working life in different roles, I am now more certain about which roles I should pursue long term. I enjoy creative visual work (such as my current role), I love encouraging young artists and I enjoy writing about my passions for commercial value.
