If you missed the deadline for round one, or didn’t make it to this final stage, then the second round of applications opens on 22 November. This time we’ll be looking for three winners.
Futures Fund Seminars
To help you with your application, Sky Arts is putting on a series of Futures Fund seminars. These afternoon sessions will include a live Q&A with a successful artist talking about their career, how they established themselves as a working artist and offering advice on working in the arts, This will be followed by a panel of Sky Arts and IdeasTap staff members answering your questions about applying for the fund. The afternoon will end with an opportunity to network – free drinks will be provided!
The Futures Fund Seminars will be happening across Britain and Ireland as follows:
LONDON: 23 November at Sadler’s Wells – 2pm to 5pm. Speaker: Olivier-award winning theatre director and Futures Fund judge Rupert Goold. SOLD OUT.
EDINBURGH: 25 November at Creative Scotland – 2pm to 5pm. Speaker: Stuart Murdoch, the lead singer of cult indie band Belle & Sebastian.
MANCHESTER: 7 December, Manchester Art Gallery – 2pm to 5pm. Speaker TBC.
DUBLIN: 20 December, Science Gallery – 2pm to 5pm. Speaker: singer, actress and entertainer Camille O’Sullivan (read our interview with her).

Booking is free but spaces are limited to just 100 tickets for each event, so make sure you can definitely attend before booking your place – and let us know as soon as possible if for any reason you have to cancel.

Announcing the winners
We will soon announce the two winners of the first round of the Sky Arts Ignition: Futures Fund. These two artists will each receive £30,000 bursaries to develop their practice and career over an entire year.
