Alessandro has written, produced, and directed several award-winning, and award-nominated short films and short TV-series, and is a recent graduate from the MFA Film Program at Temple University, Philadelphia (USA).

His short film “Heaven’s Gate” (2010) is an attempt at visualizing the obsessive ‘thought pattern’ of a young, self-isolated man in his creative block. It has been selected and screened in the UFVA - NEXTFRAME International Film Festival, and is part of the Diamond Screen collection (Philadelphia).

“Baby Detonate For Me” (2011), revolves around daily rites and gestures, and male friendship explored in a purely physical direction. It has been featured and exhibited in the COLOGNE OFF collection (“Art & The City” Juried program), and LE MUSEE DIVISIONISTE Museum in Cologne, and has been selected in the juried collection THE NOMAD ARCHIVE from Nomad Films (New York/Paris), and features in the TFI’s Reframe collection (New York), and the Diamond Screen collection.

Alessandro wrote and directed the short film DEER between 2011 and 2012, and it is just been completed. The script for DEER has been selected and nominated for Best Screenplay in the 2012 Diamond Awards, and received a Completion Grant from Temple University.

Currently, Alessandro is working on a feature film, E SONO UN TOPO (Benjamin Lazaroff Memorial Screenwriting Award, 2011). He lives in London, UK.
