Farhad is an Iranian documentary photographer based in UK. Specializing in social documentary, travel and editorial photography in Asia and the Middle East. His work is concerned with people, more specifically, the way in which individuals and communities interact with or are affected by their environment. He began his professional career with Associated Press in the UAE and Middle East in 2007. Farhad was nominated from the World Press Photo as the best young talented photographer in the MENA region in 2009 and His work has appeared in publications around the globe such as BBC, AP, The New York Times, Guardian, and Washington post, Figaro, El Paris...
In 2013, Farhad won scholarship to study MA photojournalism and Documentary Photography at university of arts London; his final project about the effects of sanction on medicine in Iran was highly commended and published on BBC.
