To accompany application for #FutureFund Juliet and The Shrink, is a 10 part comedy drama which explores the life of Roberta Hammond (Bertie) and her co-workers at TelSell inc. - a telesales company. Throughout the series Bertie's odd character unravels, and we begin to understand why she is so extraordinarily quirky: We see how Bertie reacts to socialising with her new coworkers at TelSell Brighton - who are in comparison, every opposite to Bertie; We realise how troubled she is - so troubled, that she frequents a psychologist to help her with her traumas; We discover her losses - both in love and her childhood; And we see how her obsessive behaviour leads her into hilarious predicaments time and time again. The story is as much about the coworkers at TelSell as it is about Bertie. As we follow the loves, lives, trials and tribulations of a group of clueless misfits, we laugh at the idiotic things they do, but realise that we are not so different ourselves. About me

Veronica has a larger than life attitude and has always pursued creative endeavours. From early childhood she immersed herself in music, drama, creative writing and art, developing her talents in the entertainment industry later as a poet, photographer and video editor. Eventually, she progressed to screen-writing & directing - taking on a few short film and TV pilot projects. This then led to work as an on-screen actress in independent film. Last year she landed a role in feature film MY Hero and has been progressing rapidly. Her experience boasts a healthy involvement of lead roles in short film; commercial work, corporate, voice-over and modelling. As an actress her niche is romance, comedy and drama as she has a fantastic ability to convey charm, allure and romantic beauty one moment, then switch to a comic quirky tomboy in an instant. As a graduate of Artificial Intelligence however, she would revel in the opportunity to pursue sci-fi, fantasy & horror.
