About me

I began my journey with photography aged 15, after focusing my studies around the media and design industry I began exploring different aspects of creativity during my summer break before college. With my first SLR camera I began photographic my surroundings and the people in my everyday life. I discovered a new way of viewing the world, looking at things in a whole new way, and I began to appreciate more of the beauty in my environment.
As I studied graphic design I continued exploring photography and I noticed how my teaching was reflecting upon what and how I photographed. Mid way through my degree I changed my focus completely towards photography, incorporating elements of design into each brief I was working on.

When I finished my education I continued my learning by working at a portrait studio. I learned skills working with people, helping them relax in front of the camera in a short space of time and in an environment which was new and different. I was allowed the creativity to experiment and learn new lighting techniques and digital enhancement skills.
This ignited my true passion for photographing people and three years later I left the studio and began freelancing. I opened my own studio and quickly started working with models, makeup artists and stylists to build a portfolio.

Now two years on I have had the opportunity to work with a range of magazines, designers, models and musicians. I have worked with brands around London, Europe and most recently South-East Asia.
My ever expanding portfolio encompasses my individual style, based around traditional graphic design skills which combine colour, shape and composition with my photography skills in lighting, digital enhancement and expression.

Every opportunity I am given I embrace to the fullest and each commission I accept is uniquely catered to fit the brief, whether rigid for a specific result or with creative direction for a more artistic approach.
I always aim to exceed expectations of my imagery and produce the very best images possible for each and every photo shoot commission.

  • I am looking for a photographer who has equipment to take good pictures of good quality and preferable an studio or place to work also who is looking to expand his portfolio and who needs a model for headshoots and portrait pictures.

    My name is Victor Rios and I am a freelance South American Actor I have worked on a variety of projects, but I am increasingly committed to the film production where I feel my particular skills and knowledge in acting and diversity of knowledge in culture are used to full. In particular, the experience I gained during the last drama online I took part in called 'Casino 52' which was part of IdeasTap and the National Youth Theatre, where I had to play a Latino drug dealer, and you can find it on youtube "Casino 52, episode 40". Your could have a look.

    At the moment I am working on my website and furthermore I will be opening an account on Spotlight and I will Need professional Photographies.

    It will be a good experience for the photographer as we could try energetic and interesting looking pictures with different outfits, furthermore I'll recommend the photographer to my colleagues and I will preserve the copyright of the photographer wherever I post the photos giving a good advertisement such as my website.
