My name is Thom Jackson (that's Thom as in Thom Yorke of Radiohead, not Tom Thumb and Jackson as in Jackson Pollock the artist) and I just love performing. I am mainly an actor, having been on and off stage ever since I was six. I have done different kinds of acting, mainly stage work, but also some voiceovers and short films. I was on TV once, in the an episode of How To Look Good Naked, and may do so in the near future, as I have shot a pilot for a new sitcom - We Could Be Heroes, which could be picked up by a television channel. Since 2011 I have been signed to an agency, and I have already had some professional opportunities.

I am also a self-taught screenwriter, and I have been writing scripts for film, ranging from short films to features to story arcs for entire television series. What started out as a hobby five years ago when I was sick for months with M.E. turned into a source of Christmas presents for friends and family, but in 2012, with six pitches which could be explored professionally, I hope to make the jump to being a professional screenwriter as well as an actor.I also write short stories for fun, but some of these have developed into bigger ideas.

I am a competent muscian, particularly with my singing voice and the accordion, but can also play recorder and percussion.

I love to take photos as well, mainly landscape or nature, but always interesting; often when I go out with my camera and see something that catches my eye, I like to catch it and share it with others. I do not rely on any lights, just natural light, angles and reflections.
