Hello!

My name is Susie Dzialdowski and I am 20 years old and I have nearly completed a BA hons in Drama from the University of Bristol. I am an actor and devised performer and am particularly interested in telling stories through theatre which merges different elements of the arts. I was a devised performer in Babolin Theatre Company's Edinburgh Fringe five star devised show Picnic Apocalyptic, an energetic piece of total theatre which included styles of clowning, physical theatre and song. I have also collaborated and acted in several experimental performances, including a recent adaptation of Dr Faustus performed in abandoned Edwardian Toilets in Bristol. As well as devised and physical performance, I have explored multiple other styles of theatre and acting, in particular I have a lot of experience in Renaissance drama and classical text, having performed in many early modern roles including Puck (Midsummer Night's Dream), Vittoria (White Devil), Phebe (As you Like it) and Katherina (Taming of the Shrew) . Additionally I have attended workshops at RADA on Meisner acting theories and have experimented with applying some of the fundamentals of naturalistic performance into other styles.

I have directed various short productions and I really enjoy working with new writing, for instance in the summers of 2013-2014 I have directed short plays as a part of Menagerie Theatre company's Hotbed new writing festival. I also am a keen dancer/choreographer and have experience with multiple styles of movement including contemporary, ballet and Jazz.
