Theatre does not have to be placed in an educational framework to be valuable, theatre is educational already, it is communicative, allows for integration and a sense of ownership to be established

Mission Statement

Sunlight Productions strives to produce accessible experiences that engage, stimulate and entertain, by using Theatre AS Education, through dynamic participation projects and productions, using workshops, devised and set pieces to create experiential learning in the dramatic arts.

What we do.

Sunlight Productions is a Theatre AS Education company, offering a wide range of workshops and classes structured to enable learning and development, through projects and productions at the heart of education arts expansions. We are dedicated to bringing Theatre AS Education to the wider community and the education sector and putting our audiences at the centre of our production process.

The four founding areas of the Scottish CFE are employed by Sunlight with the aim of encouraging an understanding that anyone can take an active role in all aspects of life and the wider community, giving everyone the freedom to create.

Who we work with.

We work with children, young people and adults in educational institutes and community groups throughout Scotland and Northern Ireland to explore the Curriculum for Excellence, interweave social dvelopment and challenges within communities and amoungest audience members.

Working in collaboration with local groups and organisations gives us the capacity to devise scripts and produce performances aimed at specific target audiences, enabling you to have the best possible theatrical experience.

  • Hi guys, thanks for the connection. I remember studying GCSE and A level theatre studies very fondly - it allowed me to rig the lights at the Royal Albert Hall, so I can't complain! Best of luck with your projects. :-)

  • well if you said you need any actors i would love to ablige, i have some experience teaching workshops as I have done work on Brecht and Berkoff for lower school and my ambitions are to become a teacher myself :)
