I've been producing plays, films, stories, drawings and audio since I was 8 years old. I like to produce my own work in non-traditional ways, learning through trial, error and experimentation. I like my work to have a home-made quality and naive style, whilst attempting to provoke audiences in a professional arena.

I work in communities trying to include as many varied and different people as possible in work, encouraging to express themselves in a medium they may never have ventured into before, if they've ventured into artistic expression at all. I find this process the most important of all. I like to set myself new challenges all the time, to work in different genres, mediums and styles. I want to connect with people through making things.

Most of all, I find our youtube million hit wonder generation stultifying, it scares me that the ambition to reduce our work to easily replicated binary codes, easily transferable bits of data, without purpose. I love work that is temporary, ephemeral and most of all part of our living experience.

    • Don't have any dance skills unfortunately.... I look like 'a paraplegic being electrocuted with a cattle-prod' as David Mitchell says in peep-show
