About me

I have worked as a Sound Operator/Engineer on a variety of touring and regional Theatre productions since graduating in 2007, with a specialism in Actor/Musician musicals. I have taken part in a few youth theatre workshops whilst working at the Young Vic, acting as support to students interested in Sound. Now based in London and looking for a career change within the arts industry. Work in marketing, youth development or with arts based charities is where I am basing my search whilst completing my last Sound contract (at The Watermill in Newbury).

I write regularly, currently working on a play and some short stories. Photography is something I enjoy as a past time and I'm planning on doing some short courses in the subject to develop my skills.

  • We are looking for a Sound Designer for 'Concrete Jungle' written by Olivier Award winning playwright Bola Agbaje, produced, created and developed by Upstanding Productions, Ludere Productions, in association with Wild Thyme Productions (The Kings Speech 2010). We have a three day preview at Riverside Studios booked starting April the 2nd 2012. This role is unpaid but is likely to lead to paid work, the production is booked for a four week run later in the year and has begun to book tour venues.

    'Concrete Jungle' is based on an amalgamation of true stories taken from research with police, politicians, prisons and gang members. The play focuses on looking at women's roles in gang culture.
    Applicants must have relevant credits and experience in Sound design. Please send examples of your work. You will be work ing alongside the director to create the perfect soundscape the genre: Urban, Drama.

    This is a great credit for someone who could potentially continue working on the project. we have a fantastic team on board of well known industry professionals. The play was first staged at The Lyric Hammersmith in July 2011.
