Jack Craven is a man down on his luck and at the bottom of a bottle. Forced to move out of the family home, he now only gets to see his teenage son Gav on weekends. After a drunken night with a pile of old VHS tapes of Gav's favorite childhood show 'Ship Ahoy' Jack notices something strange: the show's dog seems to get switched mid-season. About me

Ryan Vernava began making shorts in 2009. His first short won accolades at some of the UKs biggest festivals for young filmmakers. Since then his films have gone on to be screened at festivals around the world in Seattle, Palm Springs, LA, New York, Tel Aviv, Cannes, Berlin and Kiev. His work has also been broadcast on American and Russian television, as well as, making it onto British Airways & Emirates in-flight entertainment. His 2012 virgin media shorts entry screened in over 200 UK cinemas ahead of feature presentations for a full year and also made it onto Virgin TV.

In addition to his work as a director Ryan has curated and commissioned work for film festivals around the world, launched his own online magazine and created original live visual content for various brands and music artists. His feature 'Century Tower' was selected for London Film Festival's think-shoot-distribute development scheme singling him out as one of the UKs top 25 emerging filmmakers currently developing their first feature. Ryan recently graduated with a masters in Directing Fiction from the National Film & Television School where he was awarded a prestigious David Lean Scholarship, a John Braybourne Award and the silver medal in Kodak's worldwide student competition.

Ryan currently lives & works in London.

    Really like your work. I'm due to shoot a principle role in a feature film in May called The Big Date which will be shot as a mockumetary and submitted to film festvals.

    If you are working on anything that will shoot from June then let me know if there's a role I can read for as I should be available then.
