I'm an artist currently studying Fine Art at the University of Leeds.

My practice revolves around the deconstruction of meaning in order to judge and evaluate its composite elements. Following this, I love to explore the reconstruction of that meaning by recombining its parts.

Words, graphic notation and language are central to my work. How an event or happening can be understood and interpreted through these various modes of communication fascinate me. I often move through genres and forms; the loss and gain through translation of one medium to another creates valuable subject matter.

Art that is generated from living and that blurs the boundary between life and art is an attractive concept. I am drawn to Fluxus notions - experimenting under conditions that are playful, multidisciplinary and improvisational. I find great pleasure in allowing the audience/ performers to activate the creative potential in a work. When doing this I often observe and analyse these outcomes in order to further work upon the incidents created out of my control. In doing so, I accentuate the information gathered often to a point where it becomes unrecognizable or nonsensical.
