I am an actress, performer, director, writer and facilitator based in Glasgow. I make theatre that recognises the importance stories that all of us have to tell. I work in collaboration with other artists as well as with youth theatre and community groups.
Theatre can be used as a way to understand our lives and can, and should, be accessible to everyone. Work does not need to take place within the boundaries of a traditional theatre to be able to inspire and enthuse participants. Theatre is a way people from all communities can come together and share their experiences of life and the world in which we live. This is what I aim to achieve in my arts practice; bringing people together and making performances that reflect our society and the issues that are most relevant to those taking part.
I am graduate artist from the Contemporary Performance Practice course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. I've worked with Nic Green, Visible Fictions, Rusty Boat Theatre Company, Glas(s) Performance and Michael Mayhew.
