Right now I write for free and watch football for money, although I think it would work better if it was the other way around.

Just completed my MA Sports Journalism in Twickenham and conducting interviews for my final project, What's Wrong with Sports Journalism? (The question mark makes it sound a bit less gobby...)

Passed all my NCTJs and use my shorthand for shopping lists and secret messages to no-one in particular.

I write for a Newcastle United fanzine called true-faith and blog for pleasure about films, music, sport and anything else that takes my fancy.

One day I will make a documentary re-tracing the steps taken by John Steinbeck and Robert Capa in A Russian Journal, if all goes well.

I enjoy lists but prefer the things that go on them to the time I spend putting them together. I like facebook and twitter but I don't think they like me.
