I am a theatre director and writer based in London and Director of Farnham Maltings associate company, Bucket Club.

In 2014 we took Lorraine & Alan to the Edinburgh Fringe as part of the Escalator East to Edinburgh programme. The show was this year's recipient of the Charlie Hartill Fund for Theatre. It won the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence, a Musical Theatre Network award for Innovation and was shortlisted for an Arches Brick Award. It goes on a national tour in Spring, starting at BAC.

In summer 2014 we also toured The Beasts, which played at the Lyric Hammersmith, GDIF, Imagine Watford and Latitude Festival. We are workshopping a new co-production with Farnham Maltings in February 2015.

I have directed work shown at Theatre 503, Ovalhouse, BAC, the Lyric Hammersmith and Bristol Old Vic. I have worked as an assistant director to David Greig and Amelia Sears at the Traverse, Arcola and Theatre Centre and been a production assistant on shows by Wildworks and Shunt. This year I completed the Royal Court's Introduction to Playwriting group.

I am currently assisting Richard Jones at the Young Vic on a workshop of a new production for 2015 and will be a Jerwood Assistant Director there. 2015 will also see me undertake a BBC Performing Arts Fellowship in which I will be resident director at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol.

I have a particular interest in new writing, dramaturgy and working with live music. I make work that is playful and that explores storytelling and form.
