I am a young creative interested in Media, I have a lot of experience in Media and running youth led projects. I plan to build up a portfolio of all my work and create more youth led projects in Hackney to benefit the young people there so they can experience all the opportunitites I have.

I currently work part-time as a Youth Media Worker for a company called Social Spider (www.socialspider.com) running their online youth magazine Contrast (www.contrastmag.co.uk)

The remainder of my time I volunteer for an anti knife crime charity ART AGAINSTKNIVES (www.artagainstknives.com) as a Project Manager for OurSpace- a youth-led social initiative that aims to reduce knife crime by engaging young people in areas of social and economic deprivation. The project addresses one of the key causes of knife crime, by tackling the fragmentation of communities caused by an influx of regeneration development into an area. OurSpace provides opportunity for young people to engage with their surroundings by designing, creating and sustaining their own solutions to local social issues, encouraging young people to become integrated in their local area.
