About me

I am an English/Scottish, London and Edinburgh based actress, writer and creative producer. I work freelance for various companies and as part of a company called Backbone Theatre (http://backbonetheatre.com/).

I trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Shakespeare's Globe. I have worked with The Factory (Tim Carroll) and Vincent Dance Theatre. Other credits include The Beard (The Arcola), The Duchess of Malfi (New Diorama Theatre), The Serpent's Tooth (The Almeida), Spaced (Theatre Delicatessan), Professor Vanessa's Wondershow (The Roundhouse), Backbone Bistro (The Bush Theatre), The Odyssey (The Albany), The Red Helicopter (The Arcola), Mary Warren in Argus Angel winning The Crucible (Pretty Villain), Kate in The Taming of The Shrew (Festival Shakespeare Company), which won the rare 'Outstanding Theatre Award' from Fringe Review and Paulina in The Winter's Tale (Shakespeare's Globe). Film work includes Our Kind of Traitor, A Long Way Down and Desdemona in Othello (Thomas Wright).

I have written and directed my own work with Backbone at Theatre 503, The Roundhouse and The Bush Theatre as well as directing my own work at the V&A Late.

Currently I'm just waiting to hear back from the Ideas Fund Edinburgh award as if we were lucky enough to get that we wouldn't be eligible to take part in Accidental this year I'm afraid :( When do applications close? x
