About me

Karolin has worked and trained within various mediums and continues to explore new things do feed her knowledge and experiences. With a background that stretches through the areas of, dance, performance- and visual-art, photography, film, choreography, acrobatics, martial art and community work, she now start her career as a freelance interdisciplinary artist. Driven by the passion for traveling and exploring what is yet not experiences, approaching various communities with her work by exchanging knowledge and inspiration.

Choreographic methodologies are based around improvisation, inspired by Forsythe, Butoh and Gaga. Other art forms are feeding my inspiration and often takes part in the creative process. I am aiming to create work that provokes the creative mind and engages ones emotional, intellectual and physical being. Challenging the spectators relationship to the performer and its role within the performance. Visual imagery and costume feeds the movement language and the meaning of the performance.
