About me

I'm an actor and writer currently based in St John's Wood. Although I tend to play more comedic parts I am pretty versatile and can get away with playing any character aged 22-40.

I am currently completing an Acting Diploma at the Central School of Speech and Drama, finishing in August. The course includes focus on improvisation, voice, movement, text, combat and character.

In 2010 I was involved in Ideas Tap-backed Knocked for Six production "End of the Line," directed by Sabrina Mahfouz (writer and performer of critically-acclaimed one-woman show Dry Ice). I performed in a total of 4 of the sketches/short plays that received positive reviews from London Fringe and The Stage. Most recently I have been part of the MUJU theatre initiative, performing at the Tricycle Theatre in Kilburn.

Previous acting exploits include six productions with the Hampstead Theatre Heat and Light group, performing in 'In His Image' by Rosa Connor (March 2010), 'Flight 42' by Zia Ahmed (July 2009), Punch by Matt Hartley (November 2008), 'the Best of all Possible Worlds' by Sean Mahoney (March 2008), 'Mine' by Jane Bodie (November 2007) and 'Looking After Sonny,' devised piece (July 2007). I have also performed in various rehearsed readings and university pieces.

In terms of writing, I am an alumni of the Royal Court Young Writer's Programme, selected from hundreds of applicants. My first play, 'Room Temperature' was performed at the Colour House Theatre in October 2008 as part of the Equinox New Comedy Scene Festival. Also performed was 'Good Grief' as part of the New Wimbledon Theatre Bookfest event, also October 2008.

I am Executive Producer on short programmes entitled 'Minute Mayhem' on GOLD and Watch, both UKTV channels, have presented an online documentary for GOLD's 'Fawlty Towers Re-Opened' event in 2009 and co-devised a forthcoming online sitcom for the Dave channel.

My ideal next step is to perform at Edinburgh in a comedic play, and to perform in the likes of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg or Journey's End.

I'm heading off to edinburgh as a production manager! and fingers crossed i have some stuff planned for next year with frantic, thick skin and iso! and ive got my agent now so fingers crossed for more work!! Im writing as well not even at the end of a first draft yet but im enjoying myself!!!
