I am a Musician. Currently Producing, Song writing and Performing regularly, In live venues particularly Brighton and London based.
I have also had the chance to run my own Music events at some of these events too. .
I devoted my time to professional music at the age of seventeen and joined my first band when I was eighteen, here I was able to practice my songwriting, singing and rapping in a Hiphop, Funk/Rock, Indie band.
I have also had a chance to work with three of the four major record labels such as; SonyBMG, Emi and Universal Publishing, working alongside artist such as; Chad Smith of the Red Chilli Peppers, Kelly of ‘Eternal‘, Terrie Walker, The Upper Room, Rhymefest, Dj Semtex. and performed at nights featuring Trevor Nelson and Mike Pantelli. I am also currently working with agent: Sue Carling.
I have also studied music academically at; northbrooke college where I've developed my Music production and engineering skills. I recieved a full scholarship to study at BIMM the 'Brighton Institute of Modern Music' for two years. This institute was conceived by Kevin Nixon (Virgin records MD) and former Sony Music business manager Sarah Clayman. I have also recieved a scholarship to study at 'The Berklee College of Music,' this is where Duke Ellington, John Mayer and Quincy Jones studied music too.
I have great passion for every aspect of the developement of a successful act; in promotion and scouting young and new up and coming acts, the workings of a record label, artist Management, This i why i am currently acting as a manager for a singer, songwriter and producer called BISA.
I am constatntly researching the music industry and learning to implement these skills more and more in order to forfil the plan that I believe God has placed in my heart to help congregate gifted Christian artist together particuarly within Urban music, in order to push the gospel further into mainstream masses, making it an even stronger industry, starting in Britain.
Creative writing is something I've found myself doing recently more and more recently and I've found both liberating and beneficial for myself and others, I've have been rcieving great feedback from people within facebook and I've decided to start my own blog as a result.
If I were given the opportunity to be a reviewer It will not only improve my communication skills, my writing techniques further, but it will give me the chance to and express and actively support gospel/christian artist and implement what i've learned with an impact, therefore helping me perform my vision.
But more importantly working with cross rythmns will be the best platform to push gosepl, urban music further in britain. (my aspirations to run the british pop urban industry through the gospel genre)
