I am an actress, musician, composer and writer. I graduated from East 15 Acting School in 2012 with a 1st class bachelor's degree in World Performance with many varied skills and a passion for theatre, music and comedy. I enjoy combining these elements both in my own projects, and when working with others.
I am a strong and versatile character actress with fantastic comic timing, and am very expressive vocally, facially and physically, with a lot of experience in mutli-roling, live role-play and devising. I am also a keen and skilled horse rider.

I studied music from a very early age.I have a very strong musical theory and practical base - I play piano and guitar and am a skilled soprano. I feel that theatre and music are integrally linked and the subtle marriage of the two often creates the best and most engaging theatre. I compose music for the stage, both choral and instrumental and am also a confident musical director.

I am very passionate about using theatre as a tool to affect change, both politically and educationally, and am always interested in projects that incorporate these themes, particularly involving the education and entertainment of children. I have a great deal of experience working with children, both in a caring and entertainment role. One of my current ongoing positions is a children's storyteller.

I have also studied a wide range of theatre forms from around the world including JingJu, Kecak, Bharatanatyam, Balinese Dance, Kathakali, Commedia Dell' Arte (studied with Antonio Fava), Mask, Noh Theatre, African Dance, Hula and Storytelling. I am very open to using my body and voice in new experimental ways, and love theatre that is influenced by these styles. All these different skills heavily influence my own work.

I am also experienced in children's entertainment: this involves storytelling, facilitating workshops and stimulating development and using my skills in puppetry, clowning, music and balloon modelling.

I co-founded the theatre company Out Write Productions in 2011 and act as co-Artistic Director with my business partner Emily Snee. In the summer of 2012 we produced our first show 'Sex Ed: The Musical!' at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Following its success we are now in rewrites for a school tour, due to be staged in the academic year of 2013/14 and also run educational workshops designed for young actors, or people considering drama school training.
