An ardent pupil of literature, I am an erstwhile lawyer and currently a poet, playwright and aspiring novelist from Bangladesh living in London and pursuing my lifelong dream of making it as a writer. I authored "Cryptic Verses" (a sold-out poetry collection), "The Deliverance of Sanctuary" (a critically acclaimed absudist fable in three acts that debuted in London in October 2012), and "Esne in Taberna" (an absurdist satire about the Occupy movement that is currently in development). I write a weekly politics column for the reputable English broadsheet Dhaka Tribune, and am constantly working on exciting, ambitious, thought-provoking writing projects (current work includes a unique collaborative theatrical project that seeks to promote Bangladeshi writers and culture). I exist, therefore I am.
