I am, most recently, a graduate of Philosophy, Logic & Scientific Method from the London School of Economics. My dissertation concerned the principles governing the classification of instances of copyright infringement. Sounds a bit reformist and lefty, but I tried to keep it sensible. On the whole, I avoided the "meaning of life" subjects as best as I could, but did indulge in a little existentialism while reading Kafka for a course on european literature. Hopefully I'll still be able to do something useful when I'm a grown-up.Before the LSE, I spent a while at Camberwell College of Arts, trying to refute linguistic functionalism through group demonstrations of Shroedinger's Cat experiment, making snowflakes, illustrating wave/particle duality with blobs of ink and Tippex, perfecting visceral monster/zombie depictions a la HR Giger and Ben Templesmith, and writing a transcription of a baroque quartet in binary code. Nothing terribly practical, granted, but at least it kept me busy, "for idleness is chief mistress to vices all".For the past couple of years I've worked with Beddow&Battini Studios, a London based collective of young creative people from all disciplines, who tell stories, create characters, and produce beautiful drawings, paintings and illustrations. We've put on a number of exhibitions, and are always busy with the next project.Otherwise, I'm into graphic novels, gardening, baking, anime, playing guitar, piano, oboe, any other instrument I can get a hold of, drinking coffee, herbal tea, whisky, gin, all kinds of cinema, particularly indie sci-fi, cooking, making jewellery, braiding hair, swimming, cycling, and I have a minor lingerie obsession.I look forward to tapping some ideas...
