I am an Actress, Singer and Storyteller currently in my final year at East 15 Acting School studying a BA(hons) in World Performance. This unique training has given me skills in African Dance, Samba, Brazilian drumming, Storytelling, Commedia dell'arte and Stand-up Comedy. Having studied theatre forms from a wide range of cultures, I appreciate the importance of using theatre not only to entertain but also to educate and inspire. For me, storytelling is at the heart of Theatre and as a performer, I always seek to tell a story in an exciting and visually stimulating manner. Over the past three years, I have been involved in several devising processes, working collaboratively with other artists to create new Theatre. This is something I feel my training has aided me in, allowing me to draw from a variety of techniques to generate material. I would love to continue expanding my skills by creating or supporting new theatrical work.

I have recently gained experience as a Workshop Leader for the Southend Carnival Archive Project, teaching young people Carnival Dance and Music. My approach is enthusiastic and theatrical, giving the participants as much involvement in the workshop as possible. 

After graduating, I hope to put my skills into practise, both on the stage and in more unconventional settings such as Street Carnivals, Schools and Festivals. I am also keen to transfer my performance skills to Television and Film.
