I'm a director working in London making commercials and short films

I moved here from Manchester for a year's placement with Working Title Films. I spent another year working as an assistant to director Tomas Alfredson on the film Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, on which I also shot the films B-roll and making of doc.

Before all this, I graduated from Liverpool Uni and worked on commercials and music videos as a video assist before turning to directing some theatre and a short film called The Cull. Luckily the film turned out well and I got signed by Independent Talent.

Photography is a big part of my life and when I'm not directing, it's a great way for me to carry on developing my style and aesthetic.

I'm attracted to any project that has a strong story to tell regardless of how it is told, whether through stills, documentary or narrative fiction.
