An aspiring designer and theatre technician, I am a final year Engineer at the University of Sheffield looking forward to the future
My background is in technical work: I have stage managed several shows, Technical Managed for a number of Fringe productions, and production managed the 24 Hour Charity Musical at the Crucible Theatre in early 2013. I have also taken on professional roles as a Lighting Technician and Technical Stage Manager for the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough during The National Student Drama Festival as well as for venues in Sheffield.
In the past year I have directed a staging of Lucy Prebble’s ‘ENRON’, a production selected for the National Student Drama Festival, and ‘West Side Story’ at the University Drama Studio. My lighting design work has featured in Sheffield productions, and both my set and lighting designs have taken to the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe and around Sheffield.
I continue to build experience in and around Sheffield, and plan to embark on an ambitious freelance career upon completion of my engineering degree.
