In 2012 I achieved a First Class BA Honours in Costume Design for Stage and Screen from Wimbledon College of Arts, London. Since graduating, I have been concentrating on my career as a freelance costume designer; designing, supervising and assisting within the theatre and film industry. This exciting, varied, creative path has been instrumental in the growth of both my career and personality. I often head teams of employees during productions and I also tutor 3rd year costume design students at Wimbledon College of Arts in preparation for their degree show.

I’m confident and intuitive when it comes to researching, attending meetings and budget-keeping during pre-production. I have a high level of costume construction knowledge and I’m well experienced when it comes to costume sourcing. I also understand the importance of a well organised and efficient wardrobe department, which developed during my time spent at the English National Opera. I am a very driven person with lots of energy which helps me maintain high levels of self-motivation. Most of all I love to learn; my degree and freelance work has taken me from strength to strength but being part of this internship will allow me to refine and develop my skills in a stimulating and constructive environment.
