What I was certain about was that something very, very serious is going to take place.

Mathieu Kassivitz’s film, La Haine, uses falling as a metaphor for inevitable devastation. The film feels particularly relevant following last year’s riots. The main intention of our piece is to convey impending (sociopolitical) destruction, focusing on London. Le Corbusier and Boris Mikhailov were among several other influences. The visual trajectory of the piece is more literal and we escalated pace and sense of chaos, mimicking physical acceleration. Voices counting down converge, both physically and temporally, echoing the sentiment from La Haine, “How you fall doesn’t matter. It’s how you land.”

About me

I have a First Class Degree in Music, majoring in Composition, grade 8 in piano and in music theory and plenty of experience of music performance (in the studio and live), which has taken me around the world with some highly acclaimed bands.

I produce and arrange music, and can compose to brief. I have written award winning music for orchestra and have collaborated on songs with established artists.
