About me

I have trained as an actor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RSAMD), graduated in 2013. As part of my Masters, I trained for a month at Shakespeare's Globe with their Masters of Movement, Voice and Text, and worked with, amongst others, Rob Drummond, Debbie Hannan, Ben Harrison (Grid Iron), Dougie Irvine (Visible Fictions), Ewan Downie (Song of the Goat/ Company of Wolves) and Tim Licata (Plutot la Vie). I was mentored by the late Adrian Howells. I was at Exeter University where I studied BA Drama and graduated in '12 with First Class Hons. I am a '14 Chichester Festival Theatre Young Playwright, and have participated in workshops led by Steve Atkinson (Hightide), Steve Harper (Theatre503), Julian Mitchell, and Suhayla El Bushra. I also have strong interests in arts journalism.

  • Original Impact Theatre Company are looking for recent graduates or young professionals to participate in a workshop of our latest production; ‘Liza of Lambeth’.

    We are looking for strong vocalists and actors with intermediate to advanced contemporary dance skills. Physical theatre experience desired but not essential. We are looking for passionate, hard working individuals.

    Brief Synopsis:

    Meet Liza, an eighteen year old factory worker in Victorian London. She lives in the city of Lambeth with her mother leading a quiet yet noble life until Jim Blakeson moves into the neighborhood.

    Workshop date: Wednesday 25th September 2013 6.00 - 9.00pm
