About me

As many people in the modern creative industries define themselves, I also consider myself primarily, a storyteller. Every project I am involved with has a narrative, something which compels me to plot points in it's ongoing evolution. I understand how pretentious a lot of this sounds, however I often find it hard to justify my love for my craft without resorting to cliche. I write scripts and stories, mainly with my creative partner Oscar Jacques. At this current moment we are in the editing stages of a short film competition, and the writing stage or a six-part web series, with plans for a short film, a novel and a full-length film in the works. Outside of my audiovisual projects, I am also a musician and music producer. I'd like to say that I have a life outside of my passions, but in truth, all of my friends I have met through networking and common interests, and that every facet of my life at this point is related to what I love to do.

  • Thank you for expressing an interest in the Summer Music Workshop at Leeds Metropolitan University.
    The flexible programme will allow you to design your own particular pathway around a core workshop curriculum, to inspire and be inspired by your peers, and to build confidence in unfamiliar areas, including ensemble leading, music recording, vocal technique, improvisation and composing. Workshop sessions covering collaborative composition, rhythmic and harmonic strength and leadership will be complemented by unstructured time for you build and extend your own skills in performance, create your own ensembles and experiment with new instruments and technique.
    We have several bursaries to give out and are really keen to encourage as many people as possible to apply so we get the most interesting team of musicians together. The deadline is 6 May - don’t miss this unique opportunity.
