Dogan could be described as the creator of Anglo-Turkish, Gypsy- rock, funk, reggae style mix of traditions and strong acoustic grooves. A diverse remixer of Brittish, Turkish and Cypriot roots Music. He dose this alongside his Bi-lingual self-penned material. Described critically as “a captivating sound of multi-culturalism”. He is a multi- talented entertainer he makes a storm wherever he goes with a huge enthusiasm for his Cultures and music.

Brighton born and bred, Dogan is a second generation Turkish Cypriot, with both sides of his family from the island. A fluent Turkish speaker, Dogan’s heritage forms a big part of his musical identity, alongside his love for The British folk cultures that he grew up in. He is a captivating Singer also a multi-instrumentalist, playing Violin, Bouzouki, Saz, Tenor Guitar, Drums and Anatolian/Arabic and Latin Hand percussion. If this wasn’t enough he is also a trained with the critically acclaimed STOMP and as a result is a Body percussionist creating spellbinding dance grooves with only his body as his instrument.

His EP ‘Unlimited’ was released in 2008, his debut album “Gypsyhead” in November 2009, his first Single “Cut This Cloth” April 2011 and 2012 sees the Release of the album “Outlandish” with his new backing band The Boombox Karavan
