Denholm graduated from The Oxford School of Drama, recently rated one of the top 5 drama schools in the world.

Originally from Surrey, England, Denholm Spurr attended Wilson’s School, one of the best boy’s grammar schools in the Country. He went on the gain a first class honours in Drama with Spanish from The University of Exeter. He is an alumnus of The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.

Most recently, Denholm filmed the role of Tonio in Akihiro Miyoshi's DECADENT LULLABY.

Denholm was cast as schoolboy bully Bennett Francis in PUNK ROCK at the Rose Theatre, Kingston while finishing his training. He then took part in two separate productions of playwright Joel Horwood’s work at the Soho Theatre, playing Andy in EVEN WOLVES NEED PACKS and Doctor/Gio in SHORT PLAYS BY...JOEL HORWOOD.

In 2013 Denholm played Mercutio in Shakespeare’s ROMEO & JULIET in a five-star production at the Old Red Lion Theatre.

Towards the end of 2013, Denholm was selected as one of 10 actors in MONOLOGUE SLAM: THE GRADUATE EDITION at the Lyric, Hammersmith.

This year has been Denholm focus on his film work, staring in several short films. He has also performed in several rehearsed readings of new work.

Denholm is also a freelance writer, career consultant, drama teacher and casting director. He has garnered impressive critic credentials being selected straight out of University to sit on the OLIVIER AWARDS affiliate judging panel. He attended the awards ceremony in 2012.

While still in school, Denholm was offered at job as a Junior Freelance Reporter at the CROYDON GUARDIAN.

He is a currently a theatre judge for the OFF WEST END AWARDS
