    First week of rehearsals for Bitch Boxer has been a sweaty one. Working with director Bryony Shanahan and correographer Imogen Knight on the physical aspects of the piece and I'm feeling very excited and very lucky to have such a brilliant team on board! Still training at IBC so my body is aching in places I didn't realise I had muscles! Deep heat is my new bestie

    Really great meeting last night with Ideastap, Old Vic New Voices, Underbelly and Snuff Box as well as all four other companies taking part in the Old Vic New Voices Edinburgh Season this year. It was lovley to see the wonderful Seth Rook Williams who is stepping us a designer and lighting designer for "Bitch Boxer".  Also great to ask all those questions we've been burning to ask and to meet some new faces who will also be involved in the project.  Cocktails and knocked over nibbles to end the evening and I AM SO EXCITED!!! Bring on the Fringe...

  • Tonsilitis = No Training

    Big reminder this week to TAKE CARE OF MYSELF!!! Been pushing too hard to fit everything in and my body stopped me this week for a much needed rest.  Tonsilitis meant no training for a whole week and i miss it like mad! Been poorly but now I'm back and feeling fighting fit.  Can't wait to go back to Islington Boxing Club tomorrow and work up a sweat :)
